As of 2005 there were approximately 55,216 Nail Salons in the United States. According to Nail Pro Magazine, there are 3,503 salons are located in New York State. The Nail Care profession is a Billion Dollar Industry. The Manicuring/Nail Sculpture program is a 1 year, 250 hour, New York State Licensing Program. Students will learn all aspects of nail care that will prepare students to take the New York State Nail Specialty exam after completing 250 hours of training.
