Students in this program cater functions and learn to prepare
breakfasts, lunches and dinners in a commercial kitchen using professional equipment.
In our production kitchen you’ll learn to dice, slice, broil, poach, grill, braise, and sauté. In our bakery curriculum you’ll prepare cookies, pies, breads, candies, and decorate cakes. Our “front of the house” training introduces the students to principles of menu planning, purchasing, culinary service and basic nutrition. This hands on program also includes safety and sanitation as students prepare for a future in this fast growing industry.
