Students assist in the basics of maintenance and repair of 2 and 4 stroke engines. This may include dirt bikes, leaf blowers, lawn mowers and power washers. Students learn to identify and safely operate of the tools of the trade. They learn to check and refill fluids, and to use industry equipment such as a bench grinder, glass bead blasting cabinet and a safety clean machine. This class performs as a team with the teacher showing students how to trouble shoot problems and then with instruction and supervision, experience maintenance and machinery repair.
