This program will teach students the skills necessary for a career in the food service industry. They perform the complete sequence of food preparation from set up to clean up. Students are taught to follow and convert recipes, measure ingredients and use cooking implements and equipment appropriately. In this program they will prepare soups, vegetables, meats, sandwiches and desserts. Students also learn the health and safety standards of the restaurant industry.
