Students learn to conduct simple repairs using appropriate hand tools and other equipment of the trade. Students learn to work with a supervisor in various areas such as masonry, plumbing, electricity and carpentry. They also engage in stocking and moving materials in preparation for possible employment in a supply yard, warehouse or at a construction site. The program is a two year program with each year devoted to a different aspect of construction. Year one focuses on residential construction. The second year is dedicated to commercial construction.
