From trains to planes to automobiles, very little gets built in this country without the talents of welders. This course will give you the skills you can use right away in the building trades: oxyacetylene (gas welding), shielded metalarc (stick welding), plasma cutting, gas metalarc (mig welding), gas tungstenarc (tig or heliarc welding). It will also teach you to read blueprints and to recognize and use various kinds of metals. You will apply these skills in our own welding shop and in a variety of community-related projects. You’ll make sparks fly!
