College credit and tuition awards are available to Tech Center students who complete a prescribed program of study and attain sufficient levels of success equivalent to that school’s accepted standards. Transferable credit is also available with minimal course registration fees at several colleges. The information below lists current articulation agreements with maximum credit to be awarded for the 2009-2010 school year. Please note that additional articulation agreements are currently under review and may be added to this list. Course Description

Prepare yourself for an exciting future in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. This course of study will emphasize hands on training. You will learn on actual field equipment, such as, package and split system air conditioners, heat pumps, refrigerators, multi zone hydronic boilers and steam systems. Learn the basics of safety, plumbing and pipe fitting, soldering, brazing, acetylene torch operation, wiring and controls, system operation and troubleshooting.

Upon completion of this program you will be prepared for Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning employment and/or further education.
