A Self-Assessment

One of the regulations of the Commissioner of Education 90.18 for School Library Systems is that each Member School shall file a Member School Plan and Report. This plan examines Library Media Center resources and programs and how the Member School makes use of the School Library System. Your Member School Plan and Report will stay on file at the Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES School Library System.

This Member Plan will assist you in evaluating your own Library Media Center program and resources. As a self-evaluation tool, it allows you to look at your LMC's strengths and weaknesses, helps you to develop long-range plans and assess how your LMC program supports the over-all instructional programs in your school.
