Many of the programs offered through the Center for Environmental Education support the Science 21 units. Where the two tie together, we have indicated the Science 21 grade level and units. Just look for : Sci 21 4/4, 6/4 after the program description. The first number is the grade level, and the second, after the “/” , is the unit number.Character Education

Non-BOCES Aidable Environmental Programs
These are environmental programs eligible for state aid from other providers and facilities. To receive a Resource Directory which contains information about each of these programs, contact the Center for Environment al Education office via email (pfister@pnwboces.org) or phone (914/248-2339).In addition to the programs and services previously described, the following special services are also available:
Resource Consultation
Our staff is available to consult with teachers and administrators in developing new programs and curricula.Resource Library
The Center for Environmental Education has an extensive library of curriculum material, background information, and ideas for loan.Field Notes
The Center for Environmental Education newsletter is published three times a year and sent to building principals for distribution to all teachers.
