The BOCES Regional Summer School offers support to students who have not been successful in a course of study during the regular school year, or for students who wish to improve their Regents examination scores in a course they have completed. All secondary courses prepare students for Regents examinations or satisfy the requirements for high school graduation. The emphasis will be on providing both study skills and content area support. |
| All prospective students must be recommended to participate by their guidance counselor. Guidance counselors recommend students based upon their ability to benefit from the summer school program. In order to participate, students must have remained in a class throughout the school year and demonstrated a desire to succeed in their course of study. |
|
Registration forms for the Regional Summer School are available in the guidance offices of the ten school districts directly participating in the program (Briarcliff, Chappaqua, Croton-Harmon, Hendrick Hudson, North Salem, Ossining, Peekskill, Putnam Valley, Somers and Yorktown). Students from other school districts are not eligible to participate in the Regional Summer School or the Regents testing. |
