Grade Reporting

Report cards will be mailed home at the end of the third and sixth week. The six weeks of summer school will count for two-thirds of the grade and the final examination will count for the remaining one-third. The Regents exam will constitute the final exam, except for courses where Regents examinations are not given, local exams will be administered. Each student will receive a copy of classroom rules and expectations regarding class performance and participation.

Because summer school is a 6-week program, the summer school grade is one part of the grade that appears on the student's transcript. Each school has its own policy on integrating the summer school grade with the school year grade.
