Hello, and welcome to, " The Home Page of....Rich T", my home page. This is one of the many pages I have constructed at my commercial art program in Putnam Northern Westchester Boces. I have spent two of my four Peekskill High School years in the commercial art program. My junior year (1995-96), and my senior year (1996-97). Both years I learned a lot, from strict deadlines, to the computer applications programs such as Photoshop, Extreme 3D, Director, and HTML.
The computer programs were fun and I wish to further my computer related experiences after high school by studying computer animation or graphics at a college or an art institute. The main reasons for wanting to be a computer animator is my love for video games as well as the extreme capabilities of computers and the effects/graphics you can create with the push of a button. I have played video games since the Nintendo entertainment system came out and I have been upgrading to the newer and more advanced systems since then. I have countless magazines on video games and have tried to gather as much information about the industry as possible. I have read about what it is like to be an artist, animator, storyboard director, etc, for video games, and I like the whole idea that you can create a very technologically advanced hands-on "work of art". After college I would like to have a job in the industry working for such video game companies as, Squaresoft, Nintendo, Sony, and many others. As long as I was making a video game, or games, I would be very pleased at myself for reaching my goal.
