Name: Chris P. Nicknames: CJ, Christopher, Little Baby Huey, Ewok, Powers I am currently a senior at Walter Panas HS. Next year I'll be attending NYIT in Long Island to study Computer Graphics for four years. I will be playing soccer in college, which will help me stay in shape and focused in school. After getting my Bachelor's, I'm going to work in New York City at an advertising company, firm or any business that needs Computer Graphic Designers/Artists. If it all works out, I'll be making close to six figures just ten years out of college. Eventually my plans will incorporate working on either animations or special effects in movies, television shows, or commercials. I don't have much else to say except enjoy my couple of pages, my animation and my computer art work below. |

Above is a project I did in the winter of 2002. The object was to express yourself in a self-portrait. I took two pictures of myself, one when I was a child, and one from the beginning of my senior year. I took half of the most recent picture and using Adobe Photoshop I was able to make a portion of that picture overlay the other one. The lighter side is me when I was 7 and the darker is of me at 17. Next to each side of my face I took pictures off the Internet which resembled things I liked or was interested in at each age. My self-portrait resembles the fact that even though things change, they still remain the same. |
This
was the Logo Project. The object was to come up with a clothing line or
name of an imaginary store. I tried to create the best logo I could. It's
an athletics store, as you can see from the name, which is along the same
lines as Olympia Sports, Champs, Foot Locker, etc. Power Athletiks has
a unique design, showing two big, masculine and muscular arms of a man
flexing. The Logo Project was a complete success and fun to do.

In
the beginning of the year we had a project to do in Adobe Illustrator
only a couple months into the year. For the Illustration Project we had
to find a picture or image, then recreate it in Adobe Illustrator as best
as we could. I chose a picture of a car driving up a road at an awkward
angle. I took artistic license with this illustration by putting in the
background of a sunset and making it seem like the car lights were on
as well and changing the colors around.
