Workshops and Courses
The Hudson River Teacher Center located at BOCES is one of over 130 teacher
centers funded by New York State that promotes a high level of professionalism
for educators. Composed of the districts of BOCES, Briarcliff Manor, Croton,
Hendrick Hudson, Lakeland, Ossining, and Peekskill, this center serves
all educators, including special and occupational education professionals.
The Teacher Center’s policy board, comprised of teachers, administrators,
parents, business, community and college representatives, guides the Center
in providing all staff the opportunity to take charge of their own staff
development while supporting district and state priorities. The Center
offers mini-grants, consultation, workshops/courses, and technology equipment
loans. Please look for additional workshops and course flyers.
We encourage you to bring your talents to our center and share your knowledge,
skills, and insights with your fellow teachers.
