Professional development is a key feature of the SCIENCE 21 program.
In addition to Unit Training Workshops, a wide variety of offerings are provided
to meet individual and district needs in Science education and beyond.

 
 



Workshops can be tailored to specific school district needs and include:

  • Basic unit workshops
  • In-depth content area workshops (weather, energy, simple machines, etc.)
  • Use of instructional technology with SCIENCE 21
  • SCIENCE 21 and differentiated instruction
  • SCIENCE 21 and the Internet
  • Integrating SCIENCE 21 into the Reading Process, Social Studies, and Math
  • Developing objective questions and parallel tasks to the NYS Science Assessments
  • Exploring data in SCIENCE 21
