the credentials? |
||
| Purpose | ||
| The Come Teach With Us Academy is a fast-track way to help local school districts fill teacher positions in the critical shortage areas of secondary science, math and languages other than English and to help those interested in entering the teaching profession find an alternative route to certification. After an intensive training period, participants accepted to this highly selective and prestigious program will be eligible to apply for a teaching position in a Putnam or Northern Westchester County school. This is an excellent opportunity for people with knowledge in one of these areas to quickly gain the necessary credentials to enter the teaching profession. | ||
